They're Burning The Books Again???
Both the nazi’s and the communists burnt books in their ascension to power. The reason being that any word, though or concept that defied the authority and worldview of the respective regimes was deemed to be dangerous and treasonous. So, they destroyed books by the thousands. Scientific texts, philosophical tomes, and religious manuscripts were reduced to ashes.
Why am I bringing up the past like this you ask???
The answer my friend is simple…history is about to repeat itself in the very bastions of ‘freedom’ that have lifted themselves up as the epitome of all that is good in this world.
One of the books that seemed to always be at the top of the most banned book list is the Bible. And you might correctly propose the fact that you don’t see piles of Bibles being burnt in the town square surrounded by gun-toting soldiers of a fascist or communist regime. However, there is an all out assault on the Bible and the truth it contains.
I call to attention several recent instances of how the Bible is being directly or indirectly attacked in western nations. The instances that are about to be discussed can easily be found online using a normal search engine.
A) Re-writing the Bible: There has been a call by noted transhumanist Noah Harari - who is a senior advisor with the World Economic Forum (WEF) - to re-write the Bible (and other religious texts) using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to make it more inclusive and to get it right. With the purpose of reshaping human thought and religious expression.
B) AI Leading Church Services: In Germany, a church service (as part of a conference, or some such) was run completely by AI. An AI system was used to create the worship list for the songs that were to be sung, write the prayers that were spoken, and the sermon that was delivered to the congregation. AI generated avatars (digital faces and bodies) were projected onto a large screen for the duration of the service and the congregation followed along. Some of the congregation said that it felt soulless.
C) Beyonce Mass in Church: There is now a movement (that has its own website and everything) that uses Beyonce music, songs/lyrics as the basis for the worship and liturgy in Mass services across the USA, and is trying to spread it across the world.
I am sorry….but each of those instances are not just sacrilegious, but are extremely blasphemous. The Bible…the real Bible…the one inspired by the Holy Spirit, written by God fearing men over thousands of years…has much to say about this.
Scriptures about changing the Word of God…
Proverbs 30:5-6 says “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.”
Deuteronomy 2:4 instructs us by saying, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”
Revelation 22:18-19 warns us when it says, “And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.”
Scriptures about creating your own version of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a false version….
Galatians 1:6-9 clearly and harshly points out how people have turned away from the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and are making up their own versions of the truth, when it says, “I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.”
1 Timothy 4:1 which links the changing of the Word of God, and the worship of a false Jesus, to the influence of the demonic realm…when Paul writes, “Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.”
So, you can see that the Bible itself takes these things very seriously and the people who give in to this sort of deception will be cursed by God and will see his wrath upon their lives.
In Matthew 24:24, Jesus himself warns believers not to fall for these deceptions by stating, “For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.”
I pray that you draw near to God, that you use the discernment of the Holy Spirit to not be deceived by the demonically inspired filth that is being portrayed as being ‘true Christianity’. I pray that in these dark times you seek the truth that is only found in the word of God, and not from the traditions of men, or from their vain philosophies.
So I leave you with the words of Paul in his letter to the Colossians - “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.” Colossians 2:8.
